Michelle Dunn is now registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council. The CNHC was set up by the government to protect the public. CNHC does this by providing a UK register of complementary health practitioners. The protection of the public is its sole purpose.
CNHC sets the standards that practitioners need to meet to get onto and then stay on the register. All CNHC registrants have agreed to be bound by the highest standards of conduct and have registered voluntarily. All of them are professionally trained and fully insured to practice.
CNHC investigates complaints about alleged breaches of our Code of Conduct, Ethics and Performance. We impose disciplinary sanctions that mirror those of the statutory healthcare regulators.
CNHC makes the case to the government and a wide range of organisations for the use of complementary healthcare to enhance the UK’s health and wellbeing. It raises awareness of complementary healthcare and seeks to influence policy wherever possible to increase access to the disciplines on its register.
CNHC is also the holder of an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, an independent body, accountable to the UK Parliament.
It registers complementary health practitioners from the following sixteen professions:
Alexander Technique teaching; Aromatherapy; Bowen Therapy; Colon Hydrotherapy, Craniosacral Therapy; Healing; Hypnotherapy; Massage Therapy; Microsystems Acupuncture; Naturopathy; Nutritional Therapy; Reflexology; Reiki; Shiatsu; Sports Therapy; Yoga Therapy.

Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that works on the principle that all organs, glands, and parts of the body have a nerve or a blood supply that runs through the feet. By applying gentle pressure using finger and thumb to these specific points on your feet the body can repair and rebalance itself. Read more about reflexology.
Ever wondered what a reflexology treatment is like? It is not ticklish, painful or a simple foot massage. It is a holistic therapy performed by a qualified practitioner who will work with you to de-stress your mind and rebalance your body. Watch a reflexology treatment in action.
