Maternity Reflexology Qualification

I’m delighted to announce that I’ve completed the Susanne Enzer Maternity Reflexology Consortium© course, passing with “flying colours”.

During my training I undertook a 4-day workshop which included hands on practice and theory.

To complete the course and gain the qualification, I then produced several case studies along with writing essays and other supporting materials.

Naturally, I can share these supporting materials with you, my clients, on request.

I decided to train in maternity reflexology to deepen my knowledge of fertility and pregnancy

My overiding objective is to help you as best as I can on your journey from pre-conception to birth.

The benefits of maternity reflexology

Maternity reflexology can help women during pre-conception as well as during pregnancy itself.

During the first trimester many mums-to-be find that their hormone levels are changing rapidly.

This may leave you with alternating feelings of delight and anxiety. Other expectant mothers may suffer from morning sickness and exhaustion.

During the second and third trimester, early discomforts may disappear. However, expectant mums may suffer from back ache, varicose veins, low mood, and tiredness to name but a few.

Reflexology during pregnancy works by keeping your body well balanced both emotionally and physically. It nurtures both mother and baby at the same time.

Many of my clients tell me that during maternity reflexology their babies are soothed by the treatment.

The one thing that maternity reflexology cannot do is bring on labour.

Baby will come when baby is ready. However, maternity priming techniques can help the parasympathetic nervous system to allow the body to relax and allow labour to happen naturally when the time is right.
